Military Brat Experience. Today, Tomorrow & Always.
Military service has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My father proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force, and my mother spent 35 years with AAFES supporting military families around the world. As a military child, I experienced firsthand the excitement, challenges, and frequent relocations that come with military life.
That background gives me a unique understanding of the PCS process and the importance of having a knowledgeable local resource when arriving at a new duty station. Whether you're buying, renting, exploring schools, commuting to Travis Air Force Base, or simply getting familiar with the area, I'm here to help you navigate your transition with confidence.

Planning Your Move: The House Hunting Trip
When a military family is PCS'ing to a new duty station, it can be a very stressful time. Once your orders are received and a solid check-in date is established, it's time to map your strategy.
Time is short. Sometimes only one spouse can go ahead to house-hunt, securing a home weeks sooner to ensure a door-to-door move. Whether traveling solo or together, arriving prepared with the right financial tools prevents leaving money on the table.
Suggested Deployment Checklist
- Lender’s pre-approval letter
- W-2 forms (service member and spouse) for the last 2 years
- At least 2 most recent Leave and Earnings Statements (LES) & spouse’s pay stubs
- 2 months of full bank statements (savings/checking) for earnest money verification
- Checkbook, notebook, and pen
- Digital camera or smartphone for comprehensive property video walkthroughs
- Solo Spouse? Bring a General or Real Estate Specific Power of Attorney (POA) to sign paperwork instantly.

Capt. David Waclawski, U.S. Air Force
"We recommend her to anyone we know who is coming to Travis AFB and looking to buy!"
Capt. Aisha Lockett, U.S. Air Force
"I could not have been more impressed with Stacey Sandoe. My husband and I moved cross country from the East coast right as the pandemic started. In the chaos, Stacey ascertained exactly what we were looking for in a home. Stacey targeted only the most appropriate houses and neighborhoods for an efficient use of our limited time. Stacey remained in contact throughout the entire process going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Once we found our home, my husband and I were afraid we would be delayed with closing due to COVID. However Stacey worked her magic and all the inspections happened in time and we were able to close AHEAD of schedule. Furthermore, Stacey kept in close contact with the sellers and negotiated additional benefits on our behalf. Stacey has a wealth of knowledge of the area as well as local services that has been invaluable. I continue to reach out to Stacey for recommendations on anything local from restaurants to landscaping."
Colonel Rebekah Wolak, U.S. Air Force
